Before you start

It is possible to connect one payment terminal to the casch register, so with multiple payment terminals, you will need a corresponding number of registers, which you should name to easily keep track. For example, Register1: Store, Register2: Parts Warehouse.

Creating a new register

  1. Navigate to "POS register".
  2. Click on the plus icon at the top right of the screen to create a new register.
  3. A new window will appear, fill in the necessary information in the fields described below.

  1. Enter the name you want to give the register (Give it a descriptive name so you can easily distinguish them if you have multiple registers).
  2. Enter a default contact customer (A specific customer used for sales that are not assigned to a named customer).
  3. Add the payment terminal here; read more about how to set up a payment terminal here.
  4. Choose whether you want automatic printing of receipts.
  5. Check this box if you want A4 receipts.
  6. Check this box if you want users to enter a PIN code when making a sale. This PIN code (Quick ID) is added to the resource, read more about this here.
  7. Check this box if you want confirmation upon completing a sale.
  8. Check this box if you want the quantity to increase when the same item number is entered multiple times in the register order. If this is not checked, and the same item number is entered, it will appear multiple times in the order list.
  9. Define which payment methods will be available for this register. Read more about payment types here.
  10. Add who should have access to this register. Click the + icon to add users.
  11. Enter your main register here. For example, if you have one register in the store and one in the parts warehouse, and they should share the same cash settlement, set the register that will perform the settlement as the main register.
  12. Enter your cash drawer here.
  13. Enter which workstation (PC) this register is linked to.
