New Features
Pin favorite Resources in Scheduler
(Home > Scheduler (New))
You can now pin frequently used resources by marking them as favorites in New Scheduler. A new user-level option allows selected resources to appear at the top of the resource list for quicker access. To favorite a resource, simply click the star icon on the left side of the resource list in the New Scheduler view.
Manage tags directly in Scheduler
(Home > Scheduler (New) > right-click the appointment > select "Tags - Task/Order" to edit)
New functionality enables you to add and remove tags from Orders and Tasks directly in the New Scheduler, streamlining workflows and making tag management faster and more accessible without switching views. To edit tags, right-click any appointment connected to a Task or Order to open the context menu, then select "Tags - Task" or "Tags - Order" to add or remove tags. Changes to tags will also be reflected in the Order and Task views.
Restrictions for private appointments from Microsoft Outlook
(Home > Scheduler (New))
The context menu options and other editing interactions for private appointments synced from Microsoft Outlook are now restricted to non-owning users. This prevents non-owning users from modifying another user's private Outlook appointments.
Capital sales: Sales wizard
Entity search filtering for trade-in
Sales users can now search for trade-in entities owned by other customers. This improvement makes it easier to manage situations where a trade-in entity is registered under a different customer, ensuring a smoother and more flexible sales process.
Ordered Entities where Supplier is an Owner
In the Entity Sales Wizard, you can now also select Entities with the status "Ordered" to a sales Order or Offer.
Improvements
Notification for missing Required Dimensions in Point of Sale
(Profile menu > My Resource > Notifications tab > Setup tab > Sales > “Touch orders: sale was completed with errors…”)
Validation errors on Point-of-Sale (POS) order invoices are now sent directly to the user before completing the POS order. Previously, errors were silently ignored. The error notifications can be configured under a user’s Resource page Notifications tab in the Sales notifications group (look for "Touch orders: sale was completed with errors…").
Soft deletion for Parameters in use (improved data integrity)
(Orders / Invoices / Entities views > Parameters)
Parameters that are currently in use can no longer be permanently deleted. Instead, they are now soft-deleted to preserve data integrity. This applies to parameters used in Orders, Invoices, and Entities that contain data. Soft-deleted parameters can be restored if needed.
Extended Parameter fields in Order and Offer header
(Home > Makes and models > Parameters / Sales parameters tabs > "Show in offer/order")
More parameter fields have been added to the headers of Orders and Offers, allowing customers to display additional vehicle-related information. The Parameters are managed in Makes and Models (Parameters or Sales parameters), using the "Show in offer/order" configuration.
APIv2
APIv2: Result ordering enhancements
Added new parameter to GET /api/v2/order and POST /api/v2/order/search endpoints for the APIv2: orderBy, with available values:
- orderNrAsc
- orderNrDesc (<-- this is default, to keep existing behavior)
- orderDateAsc
- orderDateDesc
Added new sorting possibilities for item endpoints: ItemCode, ItemName.
Also, fixed an issue where sort orders were not respected for the POST /api/v2/search endpoint.
Apiv2: Customer defaults when creating an order
Added "useCustomerDefaults" flag when creating an Order via the APIv2. If set to true, payment term, currency, and invoice processing method (accounting rule) are fetched from the customer, like they are when you create a new Order from the Quick3 UI.
APIV2: Adding import and update of Offers
Adding support for APIV2 for importing and updating Offers in Quick3.
