New Features

  • Restore deleted Parameters in Makes & Models

(Home > Makes and models > Parameters)

Parameters that are already in use are no longer deleted permanently. When you delete a parameter or sales parameter that has values in Entities or is linked to sales, it is disabled instead, so existing data is kept everywhere the parameter is used. You can now see and restore these deleted parameters yourself.

  • Restore deleted parameters: Select Restore deleted parameters in the parameter view or the sales parameter view. A dialog shows the deleted parameters for the current node and the nodes above it, including inherited parameters. Select the ones you want to restore, and they become active again.
  • Saved immediately: Deleting and restoring parameters are saved right away, so no separate save is needed.
  • Unused parameters: Parameters that have never been used are still deleted permanently and do not appear in the restore dialog.

  • Profile Settings: Default delivery address for Purchase Orders

(Home > Purchase Order > Delivery address) /  (Home > Profile > Settings)

You can now set a default Delivery Address for each Profile, so the right delivery address is used automatically on Purchase Orders.

  • Default Delivery Address: In Profile Settings, select one of the delivery addresses already configured in Client Configuration as the profile's default. You can leave the field empty if the profile does not need its own default address.
  • Automatic on Purchase Orders: When you select a Profile with a default delivery address on a Purchase Order, that address is used as the Purchase Order's delivery address.
  • Your choice always wins: A delivery address you select or enter directly on the Purchase Order always overrides the profile's default. If neither is set, the existing client-level address is used as before.
  • Stock transfers: On stock transfers, the address configured for the stock transfer customer still overrides the Profile's default delivery address.

Example: Your company has two warehouses, and each buyer's profile is linked to one of them. When a buyer creates a Purchase Order, the delivery address is filled in with their warehouse automatically, so they no longer need to pick it manually each time.

  • Packing Queue: Filter reservations by Order Type and Order Status

(Home > Client configuration > Stock > Packing queue filtering)

You can now control whether the Packing Queue setting of Order Types and Order Statuses is taken into account when stock is reserved for the packing queue. Two new options are available in the Packing Queue Filtering configuration:

  • Order Type filtering: When enabled, orders with an order type where Packing Queue is disabled no longer reserve stock through the packing queue.
  • Order Status filtering: When enabled, orders with an order status where Packing Queue is disabled no longer reserve stock through the packing queue.
  • Stock goes to eligible Orders: Excluded orders no longer use up available stock, so it can be reserved for eligible orders, even if an excluded order for the same product was created earlier.
  • No change by default: Both options are turned off by default, so existing behaviour stays the same until you enable them. Packing queue generation and the Packing Queue settings on individual order types and order statuses are not changed.

Example: You register pre-orders in Quick3 well in advance, but they will be delivered later. By using an order type or order status where Packing Queue is disabled, these pre-orders no longer tie up stock that is needed for orders being picked today. When the pre-orders are ready to be picked, you can either enable the Packing Queue setting on that order type, or change the order’s type or status to one where Packing Queue is enabled. The orders are then released for picking.

  • Order Search: Update the status of multiple Orders at once

(Home > Order search > Menu)

You can now change the status of several Orders in one go directly from the Order Search view, without opening each order separately.

  • Bulk status update: Select the Orders you want to update, open the menu, and choose Update status. Pick the new status from the list and confirm, and all selected Orders are updated.
  • Updated view: Order Search shows the new status of the updated Orders right away.
  • Selection required: The action is available only when at least one Order is selected.

  • Capital Sales

Create Entities directly from Purchase Order

(Home > Purchase Order view > Menu > Create entities)

You can now create Entities for capital items already when the Purchase Order is confirmed, so capital assets can be tracked from the moment they are ordered instead of only after goods receiving.

  • Create Entities: Select Create Entities from the Purchase Order menu. The action is available when the purchase order contains capital items, and it creates a separate Entity for each capital item.
  • Ready to track: The new Entities get the status Ordered, the supplier is set as the owner, and they use the same settings and default values as entities created during goods receiving.
  • Blocks: Each Entity is assigned to its own block. If a capital item is already linked to a block, that block is kept.
  • No duplicates: You can select Create Entities again safely, as Entities are only created for capital items that do not already have one. When the purchase order is received, the existing Entities are updated instead of new ones being created.

Factory-mounted accessories added to Entities with updated prices

(Home > Entity search > Entity > Existing equipment)

When a capital entity is created from a Purchase Order or during goods receiving, it now represents the complete asset, including factory-mounted accessories purchased together with the capital item.

  • Existing Equipment: Each factory-mounted accessory is added to the entity's Existing Equipment as its own item.
  • Purchase price: The entity's purchase price includes the capital item and all factory-mounted accessories, using the prices from the Purchase Order lines.
  • Sales price: The Entity's sales price includes the sales price of the capital item and all factory-mounted accessories.
  • Same result everywhere: Entities get the same accessories and prices whether they are created from the Purchase Order with Create Entities or during goods receiving. If the Entity was already created from the Purchase Order, goods receiving updates it without adding accessories or prices twice.

Capital Item VAT handling - configuration and validation

(Home > Order view > create invoice)

Capital items now support VAT flags (VAT0, Margin, Full VAT) to ensure correct VAT treatment when purchasing and selling entities.

Configuration instructions:

  • Set the appropriate VAT Flag for each capital item under Makes and Models.
  • Ensure purchase and sales capital items are configured with matching VAT flags and that the required VAT/accounting mappings are correctly defined.
  • Leave the VAT Flag empty for capital items that should retain the existing behavior.

When purchasing an entity into stock, the selected purchase capital item's VAT flag is assigned to the entity. In the Sales Wizard, the entity's VAT flag is used to filter available sales capital items to those with a matching flag.

Sales invoicing also validates the capital item's VAT flag and required accounting mapping. Incorrect combinations are blocked to prevent accounting errors. Entities without a VAT flag retain the existing behavior.

Improvements

  • New Scheduler

Endless Scrolling moved to the Scheduler timeline navigation

(Home > Scheduler (New) > toggle "Endless Scrolling")
Endless Scrolling has been moved from Settings to the Scheduler view. It is now available as an “Endless Scrolling” button in the timeline navigation, next to Day, Week, Month, and Year.

Route Appointment Notifications to Scheduler view

(Home > Notifications > Click on appointment reminder notification)
Appointment reminder notifications are now included in the routing to the new Scheduler. If your client is configured to route actions to the new Scheduler, then clicking on an appointment reminder will send you to the new Scheduler, where you will be able to see the appointment.

User manual link added to the new Scheduler

(Home > Scheduler (new) > Scheduler settings > Event Display Pettern)
The new Scheduler now includes a link to the user manual. The link opens the guide to Event Pattern Display tags.

Resource Plan dialog now routes to the New Scheduler

("Alt+A" shortcut > Resource Plan dialog> "Ctrl + Shift + Enter" shortcut)
When using the Resource Plan dialog in Quick3 (accessed with "Alt+A"), the "Ctrl + Shift + Enter" shortcut to save and navigate to the Scheduler will now open the New Scheduler if New Scheduler routing is enabled on your client.

Improved Appointment Date and Time visibility in the new Scheduler

(Home > Scheduler (New) > hover over an appointment)

  • The Start and End date-time display in the appointment tooltips have been relocated closer to the top of the tooltip, keeping them visible even when there is a lot of content.
  • The Start and End date-time displays on externally synced appointments now include the time component in addition to the date.

  • Item: Net purchase price including VAT

(Home > Item view)

The item view now shows the net purchase price including VAT, so you can see the actual cost including VAT of an item.

  • Same as Item Search: The price is shown using the same logic as in the Item Search view.
  • Discounts included: The net purchase price takes purchase discounts into account, so the price shown is what you actually pay for the item, including VAT.

  • "Add items" feature in the Order grid: customizable separator

(Home > Order view > order grid > Click the icon on the Block to "Add items") / (Home > Purchase order view > order grid > click the icon on the Block to "Add items")

Users can now select the separator used when pasting data into the Order grid. The last-used separator is saved per user and preselected the next time the feature is opened.

Integrations

  • Subaru Superservice Integration

(Home > Order/Offer > Block> "Superservice Menus" button > select Job Type > "OK" button)

Added support for importing Subaru Superservice jobs and service packages directly into Orders and Offers via the Superservice Menus button. The Superservice Menus button is available on Blocks with an eligible Entity attached. Clicking the button opens a dialog where users can browse available services, view job details, and select the jobs they want to import. Once confirmed, the selected jobs are added to the Order or Offer, with each job automatically created as a separate Block.

  • APIv2 Development

Deleted Orders Included in APIv2 Responses

 isDeleted = true

Deleted Orders are now visible on the results returned by the APIv2 order endpoints, marked with the isDeleted = true property.

Customer Webshop Username Available in APIv2

ApiV2ContactPerson

APIv2 endpoints returning contact persons now include the webshop username in the ApiV2ContactPerson response.

Adjust Stock Quantity on a Stock Location from External Systems

POST api/v2/stock/stockentry/adjust

External systems such as warehouse management systems can now correct the stock quantity of an item on a stock location through the Quick3 API, without creating a stock taking. This makes it easier to keep Quick3 in sync when an external warehouse reports corrections after counts, inspections or picking deviations.

  • New endpoint: POST api/v2/stock/stockentry/adjust changes an item’s quantity on a stock location by a positive or negative change quantity. A comment is required, and a stock batch can optionally be specified. The response returns the updated stock entry.
  • Validation: The item must be inventory controlled, the stock location must exist and be enabled, and the change quantity cannot be zero. If the item has no stock entry on the location yet, one is created.
  • Batches: If a stock batch is given, it must belong to the item and the location. If no batch is given, the oldest batches are used first.
  • New stock log type: Corrections made through the API are shown in the stock log as External Correction, so they can be told apart from manual stock edits.
  • No stock takings created: Corrections no longer leave a separate stock taking record behind for each adjustment.

Bug Fixes

  • Server error when loading web texts in Article Groups

(Home > Article Groups > Article Group view > Texts)

Fixed an issue where loading web texts in article groups caused a server exception.

  • Issue with changing Price List Out lines in Item view

(Home > Item view > Prices Out tab > add with "+" and change the price list out > Save)

Fixed an issue where users could only add new Price List Out lines to the base price list. When clicking the "+" button to add a new line, a Price List Out search now opens, allowing users to select which price list the new line should be added to.

  • "Fraction Of" connection creates Stock Batches for wrong Item upon receipt

(Home > Item view > Item connections > used connection type "Fraction Of")

Fixed an issue with stock batches for "Fraction Of" Items being moved back to the parent Item after Items on Purchase Order had been received.

  • Empty Item Groups when importing from Price Hotel

(Home > Supplier view > External price lists > Item groups)

Resolved an issue when importing Item Groups from a Supplier where the result would be empty even though the Supplier had Item Groups available for import.

  • Missing Print menu option in the new Stock Location hierarchy grid

(Home > Stock locations > Overview tab > right-click in the grid > select "Print")

Fixed an issue where the "Print" menu was missing when right-clicking in the new Stock Location hierarchy grid. The menu now displays the available reports.

  • Fortnox payments not linked to an invoice caused settlement handling to fail

(Home > Scheduled jobs > status Failed in "Recently completed" runs)

Fixed an issue where payments in Fortnox that don't target an invoice caused an error during the Fortnox settlement handling job.

  •  MecaFin: Incorrect status for External Authorizations

(Home > Import/Export)

Meko (MecaFin) users who use personal accounts should now be able to import items. Users need to re-save their credentials in Import/Export settings by clicking "Set Meco ID and Integration Password" and then "OK" in the dialog that opens.

  • Tasks created from Classic Outlook Emails all use the first Email

(Home > Task search > drag an email from Classic Outlook to the Task Search view)

Fixed an issue where creating multiple tasks from different emails (Classic Outlook only) ended up creating the same task for every email, instead of creating unique Tasks.

  • Missing or overwritten Remittance files during FTP/SFTP export

(Home > Import/Export > Log)

Fixed an issue when exporting remittance files via FTP/SFTP, where the exported filename did not have minutes in the timestamp. Added logging of remittance exports, visible in Import/Export -> Log.

  • Issue with setting System Codes for Parameter Types

(Home > Parameter types > "System code" column)

Fixed an issue where users could not manually set System Codes for Parameter Types, preventing them from configuring additional Types beyond the initial setup.

  • Mobile: Incorrect removal of Stock entries during relocation

(Mobile > Relocate)

Fixed an issue where partially relocating stock using the Q3 mobile app could result in the deletion of stock entries that still contained stock.

  • Multiple issues fixed in Finance Service integration

  • Fixed an issue where exceptions were not handled correctly when manually downloading Confirma Finance settlement files from the UI. Exceptions are now displayed as notification messages, as expected.

  • Fixed an issue where certain validation errors displayed an incorrect invoice number when exporting invoices to Confirma Finance through either InvoiceDelivery or Confirma Finance (Accounting) jobs.

  • Fixed an issue where Confirma Finance invoice payment control status was not localized in the Quick ledger view, showing the raw status value only. It now matches the status shown on the invoice page.

  • Crediting "simple" stock transfers affects wrong Batch

Fixed a bug related to stock transfers using an internal Stock Customer. When crediting a stock transfer involving multiple batches per Item, we could end up reducing the wrong batch.
