Introduction

Welcome to our latest Software Release Notes for Quick3, Q3 Mobile App, and Webshop! Here you'll find detailed information about the latest updates, enhancements, and bug fixes across all three platforms. We’re dedicated to enhancing your experience, and these notes highlight the improvements we've made to ensure you get the most out of our software. Explore the updates to discover new features and enhancements designed to support your success!

New Features

  • Vehicle Lookup service for Denmark

(Home > Entity search > Import from registration (vehicle lookup))

Quick3 now supports the vehicle lookup service in the Danish market.

Improvements

  • Import Wizard: Purchase Price minimum quantity now defaults to null

(Home > Import wizard > Item > Cost price)

When new items are created through the Import Wizard:

  • Purchase prices will now be created with the minimum value set to null.
  • Previously, the minimum value was automatically set to 1 which caused issues when users added items to Purchase Orders with quantities below 1 (for example 0,5) and the cost price was fetched from the sales price list.

  • Improved handling of Zero-Balance Ledger rows

(Home > Customer view > Ledger / Supplier > Ledger)

When attempting to select and balance specific rows in the subledger that have Balance = 0, we now stop the process and notify the user that such rows can't be included in Balancing. Previously, these were just ignored silently, which could make for some confusing behavior.

  • Delivery Date to Packing queue view

(Home > Packing queue)

The Delivery date column has now been added to the Packing queue view. Users can now see the Delivery date when printing picklists.

Bug Fixes

  • Row group order not preserved when saving Grid3 chart presets

(Home > Insights > "Columns" button on the right side of the grid (in all smart tabs) > Drag any columns to "Row Groups" > Save)

Fixed an issue where the ordering of row groups was lost when saving Grid3 chart presets.

  • Improved Serial Number handling for fractional quantities in Cost Splitting

(Home > Sales > Order > Serial number)

This update improves serial number handling for items with fractional quantities when splitting costs between multiple buyers. Users can now handle serial number required items with quantities below 1.

  • Improved Email delivery error handling with clearer warnings

(All functionality that provides an option to send an email through Quick3)

When sending emails through Quick3, we're always sending it to the SMTP server where the user's email is hosted. Typically, this is Office 365/Exchange Online, but it can be any SMTP server. Different email services have different restrictions, rules, error codes, and so on. Today, most of the issues reported from the external email services are relayed to the user as a Server Error, when in fact it is a third party that is failing or prohibiting us from sending email.

Therefore, these "errors" will now be presented as warnings with a helpful message, including a link to our user manual regarding email accounts so you can more easily understand and fix the problem yourself.

  • Multiple users can modify the same view and overwrite changes

(All views where view locking is available)

An issue has been fixed where multiple users editing the same view at the same time could overwrite each other's changes. View locking is now handled more reliably, reducing the risk of conflicting edits.

  • Dialogs do not always close when clicking close actions

(All dialogs across Quick3)

Fixed an issue where dialogs did not always close when clicking buttons that should dismiss them.

Integrations

  • Labour Time in Yamaha service pack (Yamaha DMS integration)

(Home > Order / Offer)

When importing Yamaha service packs into Quick3, the associated labour time is now automatically included as a separate line item on the order/offer. Previously, only parts were imported from the service pack. The labour time value is sourced directly from Yamaha's service data, giving you a more complete and accurate Order without any manual input.

  • Örum integration (catalogue)

(Home > Sales Order > Block > Örum)

Örumnet Login from Sales Order

Users can now log in to Örumnet directly from the Sales Order view.

  • If an entity is already selected in the Sales Order, the entity is automatically passed to Örumnet during login.
  • The entity is fetched from:
    • the Sales Order header, or
    • the first block if no header entity is available.
  • The entity parameter is used for automatic vehicle search using the registration number.

Cart Import from Örumnet

Users can now import products directly from the Örumnet shopping cart into Quick3 Sales Order rows.

Cart Handling Options

A new user setting determines how the Örumnet cart is handled after import:

  • Clear products from the cart after import, or
  • Keep products in the cart after import.

Automatic Item Activation

Imported items are automatically activated from the Price Hotel if they are not already active.

  • If the imported item exists in the Price Hotel, it will be activated automatically.
  • If the item cannot be found in the Price Hotel, a predefined default dummy item will be used instead.

Note: To enable this integration, activation of the "Örum" module is required.

  • Moontalk mobile integration

(Home > Customer search > Customer > toolbar > "Initiate a phone call to customer" button)

Quick3 now integrates with Moontalk, a call-center telephone switchboard service. When a customer calls, Moontalk Mobile automatically displays their name, company, and location, along with enriched context fetched from Quick3 on the mobile phone screen. Users can also initiate calls directly from Quick3.

Note: To enable this integration, activation of the "Call Center" module is required.

  • Finance Service integration

(Home > Export/Import > Confirma Finance)

Quick3 now integrates with the Confirma Finance Service Hub. The integration covers the invoice lifecycle, invoice distribution, and the invoice debt collection process.

Invoice Handling

Invoices can now be exported directly to Confirma Finance from places within the system, including invoice delivery and scheduled tasks, with clear feedback on the export status.  Each invoice also has a new Confirma Finance tab showing its current state in Confirma Finance Hub, where you can pause a case or re-export an invoice if something went wrong.

Customer Balance view

A new Confirma Finance view is available under Finance > Quick Ledger Balance. It works similarly to the existing Open Posts view but includes enriched data from Confirma Finance Hub. From this view, you can send one or more invoices directly to collection.

Note: To enable this integration, activation of the "Confirma Finance" module is required.
