New Features
Enhanced value editing in grids (tables) within Order and Offer views
(Home > Order / Offer view > edit total values directly in grids (tables))
Users can now edit financial values directly in the Order and Offer grids at both line and Block levels, with real-time recalculation of all related fields. For example, adjusting the GM% on an Order Block from 20% to 40% instantly updates all associated financial figures based on the new gross margin, making it easier to fine-tune deals and maximize Order and Offer profitability.
- Editing on Order Line: You can now edit the gross margin (GM%) directly at the Order line level. All other related values in the grid are automatically recalculated in real time.
- Editing Totals on Order Block: You can edit total values at the Order Block level, including Total GM%, Total GP, Total Sum, and Total Sum incl. VAT. Changes automatically update all related fields.
Consolidated Payments in Remittance view
(Home > Remittance view > Selection tab > select lines in the grid (table) and choose "Consolidate Payments" from the main Menu)
This feature allows multiple payments to be combined into a single consolidated transaction, simplifying processing and helping reduce transaction fees.
New Setting to auto-assign current user as Sales person on Order lines
(Home > Client Configuration > Sales > General > checkbox "Set current user as sales person on line level")
A new setting, "Set current user as sales person on line level," has been added under Client Configuration (General) to control how Sales person assignments are handled when adding new lines to Orders or Offers. When adding new lines to an existing Order, the system now automatically sets the current user as the Sales person for those lines.
Multi-Appointment selection and dragging in New Scheduler
(Home > Scheduler (New) > see the timeline view)
You can now select and move multiple appointments in the New Scheduler for easier bulk updates. There are two ways to select multiple appointments:
Ctrl + Click: Hold the Ctrl key and click on appointments to toggle their selection state (select or unselect).
Alt + Drag: Hold the Alt key and click-drag the mouse cursor over the appointments you want to select.
Once selected, simply drag one of the selected appointments to move the entire group within the timeline. All moves are handled using the unified drag method for consistent and predictable behavior.
Improvements
Comment on time tracking end for selected Task Types
(Home > Type > enable the "Requires comment" checkbox for each Task Type in the grid)
Task types marked with "Requires comment" now also prompt for a comment when ending time tracking (punching out) for that Task Type.
Support for rounding on Order and Invoice (incl. VAT with 2 decimals)
(Home > Order / Invoice views)
Added support for more precise rounding rules to meet various currency requirements (especially relevant for Euros). You can now set rounding down to two decimal places, accommodating cents values. Supported rounding resolutions include 0.01, 0.05, 0.10, and 0.50, along with special rounding options like 0.99, 0.95, and 0.90 for greater flexibility.
Preserve Data on Copied and Pasted Appointments in New Scheduler
(Home > Scheduler (New ) > select the appointment on the Timeline and copy/paste using a right-click)
When a user copies an appointment in the New Scheduler and pastes it, the new appointment will preserve all data connected to the original appointment, like Task, Task Type, Customer, Memo, etc. The user right-clicks an appointment to copy it, then right-clicks again to paste the copy.
Scheduling Improvements
(Home > Scheduler (New))
The Resource row is now highlighted when dragging and dropping an appointment bar from the Waiting Zone to the timeline area.
The left end of the appointment preview bar is now the anchor point when scheduling. This means when you drag the bar to the timeline, it will align based on where the left edge of the preview bar is dropped.
The appointment bar (preview card) now shows only the following details: Customer and Task name / Block name.
Automatic FTP transfer for Remittance export
(Home > Import/Export > Bank account FTP/SFTP)
Remittance files can now be automatically uploaded to the bank via an upload button in the Remittance History view. Bank-specific FTP/SFTP configurations must be made under the Import/Export view for this feature to be available.
Added ability to set Contact Person in Order and Offer views
(Home > Order / Offer views > "Primary info" tab in the header)
Added the ability to set a Contact Person at the Order and Offer level, based on the Customer selected on the Order or Offer.
Improved Supplier matching for Voucher Document parsing
(Home > Document Center)
When parsing a voucher document, if multiple Supplier matches are found, users are now presented with a list of matching Suppliers to choose from. This enhancement improves accuracy and user control during Supplier selection.
Added support for Company Name in Address form
(Home > Customer search > Customer view > Delivery Addresses)
You can now enter a company name when creating or editing an address in the Webshop.
Improved Capital Item import from PIM
Capital Items imported from PIM now follow the same Item Group mapping on Supplier as those imported from PriceHotel. This ensures consistency by respecting the Supplier’s Item Group mapping - whether you're adding Items individually or in bulk, including during initial model mapping or updates.
Add ability to update existing Entity in Registration data search dialog
You can now update existing Entity Parameters directly through the plate number search dialog. If an existing Entity is found during the search, you’ll be able to update its details right there.
Access Token Privilege Control for API
You can now control which parts of the API an access token can access. By default, all tokens have access to all domains, but you can now restrict tokens to specific API areas for added security and control.
New Multi-Type mapping for Alternative Item No. in Import Wizard
New multi-type mapping available in Import Wizard for Item Import to support the Type for Alternative Item No.
Bug Fixes
Error when creating Dimension with Type "Category"
(Home > Dimensions > add new Dimension with Type "Category" and save)
Resolved an issue where creating a new dimension with the type set to "Category" resulted in an "invalid input value for enum" error.
Fixed Remittance filter for Positive Balance Actors
(Home > Remittance view > Selection > see the checkbox "Show actors with positive balance" to filter)
Resolved an issue where the "Show actors with positive balance" filter in Remittance view was not functioning correctly. Actors with a subledger balance of zero were shown in the Remittance list even when the “Show actors with positive balance” filter was NOT enabled. The filter now correctly excludes actors with zero or negative balances and only displays those with a positive balance.
Right toolbar shifts when left toolbar has long title or many tags
(All views where tags are supported)
When the left toolbar contains a long title or numerous tags, the layout breaks and causes the right toolbar to shift partially or fully off-screen. The UI now dynamically adjusts to varying content lengths, ensuring proper layout and accessibility.
Wrong Total calculated in Order view for "Contains" Item Connections
(Home > Item view > Item Connections tab)
Resolved an issue where setting the total price for a block using the Item connection type "Contains" resulted in an incorrect total calculation in Order view (Totals tab). The total now accurately reflects the Item package (set) price.
Page refresh issue fixed for Serial Sublocations
(Home > Stock Locations > Advanced tab > click on "Stock location" and select "Generate series of sub locations")
Fixed an issue that forced users to refresh the page when generating Serial Sublocations.
Bug fix for Stock Quantity import applying correct Cost Pricing
(Home > Import Wizard)
Resolved an issue where importing stock quantity via CSV did not populate the Item's cost prices in the Stock Log. Now, when cost price is missing when importing a file with Import Wizard:
- If Net Price is missing in the import file, cost price defaults to the Item's net price.
- If Average Cost is missing in the import file, the cost price is calculated as weighted average based on existing Stock Log entries for the Item and the new imported quantity.
Improved handling of Emails with improper multipart or mixed content
(Home > Document Center)
Fixed an issue where some emails were not picked up by the automatic job for importing mail into the voucher document center because the attachments in the original email were not properly marked as attachments.
Multiple Availability view bug fixes
- Enabled horizontal scrolling to improve usability of the Availability view on small screens with default column settings.
- Fixed an issue where disabled Stock Locations were incorrectly shown in the Availability view.
- Resolved a "Bad request" error when checking availability for Items missing a supplier product code by skipping invalid supplier queries.
Integrations
Support added for external Booking Platforms to integrate with Quick3
Added APIv2 endpoints to allow external booking platforms, such as BMW’s, to integrate with Quick3. The integration is initiated by external systems, not by Quick3. These endpoints are part of APIv2, making it possible for other external parties to integrate with Quick3 as well.
Fortnox Integration
This release introduces a full integration with Fortnox, streamlining authentication, invoicing, payments, and item/customer management between Quick3 and Fortnox.
Key features include:
Authentication: Support for external OAuth with refresh tokens for Fortnox.
Invoice Export: Export customer Invoices from Quick3 to Fortnox with ease. A new Scheduled Job - Fortnox Integration - automates the export of any Invoices that haven't yet been exported.
Invoice Payments: Import Invoice payment data from Fortnox, with a new Scheduled Job to automate the process.
Invoice Distribution: Invoices are delivered via Fortnox if the delivery type is email, print, or EHF. Others are marked as externally sent after export and booking.
Items & Customers: Items (Articles) and Customers are automatically created or updated in Fortnox when invoices are exported.
Currency Updates: Currency exchange rates in Quick3 can now be updated from Fortnox instead of the Norwegian Bank.
Vouchers: Export Stock Value Vouchers (cost of goods) from Quick3 to Fortnox using a new Scheduled Job.
Scheduled Jobs: Two new jobs "Update currencies (Fortnox)" and "Fortnox" provide configurable, scheduled tasks like exporting Invoices, Stock Value Vouchers, importing Payments, and syncing Invoice Delivery States.
Feedback & Error Handling: Uses existing Quick3 logs to show status, warnings, or errors from Fortnox API responses, including Invoice Delivery logs and Scheduled Job logs.
These improvements offer greater automation, control, and visibility when integrating financial data with Fortnox.
