We’re dedicated to enhancing your experience, and these notes highlight the improvements we've made to ensure you get the most out of our software. Explore the updates to discover new features and enhancements designed to support your success!

New Features

  • New Scheduler

(Home > Scheduler (New) view)

The 3.1.32 release brings the New Scheduler to feature parity with the old version along with some new additions. Familiar features like resource group settings and snapping timeline presets are now available, alongside improvements that streamline workflows. We will continue enhancing the New Scheduler and developing additional functionality for the Waiting Zone in the coming months. Here is a list of features and improvements in the New Scheduler for you to explore:

Date Picker
Added a small date-picker input in the Scheduler header for easy navigation to a specific date.

Timeline Layout and Date Format

  • Weekdays are now displayed in the same format as the old Scheduler when in the "Week" scale view, e.g., "Mon 02, Tue 03, Wed 04."
  • The "Week" view starts at the beginning of the current week and ends at the week's close (when "Timeline scrolling" mode in the Scheduler settings is disabled).

Appointment Form Adjustments

  • Moved "Order template" below "Resource" and above "Task type."
  • Adjusted the "Full day" checkbox to round up partial-day appointments to full days if they exceed one day (instead of always setting the appointment duration to one day).
  • Added a new field labeled "Entity" under the "Customer" field in the New/Edit appointment form, enabling users to designate an Entity associated with the Customer or Order.
  • Updated labels, including "Ny ordre" to "Ordremal," "Type" to "Oppgavetype," and "Save" to "Create." Context menu action translations were also revised.

Appointment Creation Workflow

  • Introduced an inline appointment creation menu, allowing users to create either a Work Order Appointment or a plain Memo Appointment directly from the Scheduler view.
  • Automatically sets descriptive fields on the connected Task and Block with text from the Subject and Description appointment fields. This improved workflow will help you have a smoother process when creating any event (Task, Order, appointment) from the New Scheduler view.

Wait Zone Inline Filtering Input
A free-text filter input was added for the Scheduler's Wait-zone view. Accessible via Ctrl + B and dockable to the view using the inline position toggle button (works the same as the Quickfilter feature with a new inline mode added).

Settings Enhancements

  • The Scheduler now respects the "Don't Show" option in the Scheduler settings under Resource settings.
  • You can now select and save preferred Resource groups in the Scheduler, replicating the functionality of the old Scheduler's "Resource group" dropdown filter feature. Find this filter under the"Resource groups" field in the Scheduler settings form.

Context Menu Enhancements
The user's default Order template now appears at the top of the Order templates list in the appointment context menu.

  • Enhanced Availability tab with Alternative Item display

(Home > Item / Order / Offer / Picklist / Purchase Order / Purchase Requirements views > Availability tab)

With this update, you can now view alternative items directly within the Availability tab. When the Item you’re looking for is out of stock, this functionality will automatically display similar or substitute products from the price list.

This improvement not only provides better visibility of available options but also streamlines your decision-making process for inventory and sales management. Whether you’re looking to find a replacement for a product or simply exploring alternatives, this feature ensures you have all the information you need.

  • "Allow Discount" flag for Prices

The new "Allow Discount" flag is now available for setting on out-prices. This feature helps control which prices can have additional discounts applied.

Where to Set the Flag:

You can set the flag in the following views/tabs:

  • Price Out > Price list out > List
  • Item > Prices > Prices out
  • Customer > Price agreement > Prices
  • Customer group > Price agreement > Prices

By default, the flag is set to true, meaning discounts are allowed unless you specifically choose to disable them for certain prices (e.g., already discounted campaign prices). If the "Allow Discount" flag is set to false, Discount1 and Discount2 will no longer be editable in any of the price list views listed above.

Behavior During Sales When "Allow Discount" is Disabled:

  • Price Calculation During Sale: When the flag is set to false, no additional discounts will be applied to that particular price during checkout. However, the customer will always receive the lowest price available to them. For example, if a customer usually gets a 30% discount, but the campaign price is already discounted by 20%, the customer will still receive the 30% discount.
  • Discount1 / Discount2 can still be edited in the sales line tables (Order and Offer views), but a warning will appear if you're trying to apply a discount to a price that doesn't allow it.

Import Wizard: The Allow Discount flag can now be specified during imports in the following processes:

  • Item Import: The flag will be applied to the created or updated Item. If a "Discount out" is specified for an item with Allow Discount set to false, the discount will be set to 0 during import.
  • Price Hotel Import: The flag will be set on the created or updated price in the Price Hotel, including any quantity- and campaign-based prices. Importing or syncing with Quick3 will also set the flag for out-prices. No discounts will be affected during the import for in-prices as these are not subject to this flag.

This feature gives you clarity and control over pricing. This functionality is especially useful for campaign prices, allowing you to mark a price as already discounted so that no further discounts are applied.

  • Tag display in the Search views

(Home > All search views where tags are supported)
We've added a new tags column to all Search views for contexts that support tags in Quick3. If an item has tags, they will now be displayed in a single line within the search results. This enhancement makes it easier to find and recognize tagged items quickly within the Search views. We also added support for displaying tags in Smart tabs.

Read-Only Mode: In this initial version, tags are view-only, with no editing or additional actions.

Improvements

  • Add Pickup Point support to Consignor

(Home > Order search > Order view > Delivery tab > "Selected pickup point" field)
You can now select a Pickup point for a consignment when using Consignor.

  • EBM Reporting: Improvements

(Home > Import/Export > EBM code setup tab)

  • Set a Multiplier for Amounts
You can now adjust amounts by setting a multiplier, making it easier to include only a percentage of the total. For example, if you need to include just 30% of the house rental cost, set the factor to 0.30.

NoteWe've replaced the "Reverse sign" option with a more flexible "Factor" column. This means all values will be multiplied by the factor you set, so codes that previously used "Reverse sign" will now multiply by -1 to achieve the same result.

  • Order Type Filtering Expanded
You can now filter by Order type for all codes in the "Service" Report group, instead of just a select few.

  • Dimension Filtering for Parts
You can now filter by Dimension for codes in the "Parts" Report group, giving you more control over your EBM reporting.

  • "Create New Asset" action in Finance Insights

(Home > Finance Insights > Asset tab > Main Menu > Select "Opprett anleggsmiddel")
We’ve added a new action, "Create new asset" ("Opprett anleggsmiddel"), to make creating fixed assets more user-friendly.

  • Quick3 Dashboards support for user theme

(Dashboard views)
Quick3 Dashboards now automatically adjust to your preferred theme setting, offering a more personalized and consistent user experience in light, silver, or dark themes.

  • New "Cost price incl. VAT" column added to multiple views

(Home > Item Search / Item / Order / Purchase Requirement views)
Users can now find "Cost price incl. VAT"-column in Item search, Item (Prices In / Prices Out -tabs), Sales Order, and Purchase Requirement views.

Bug Fixes

  • Autocomplete search not updating results

(Home Scheduler (New) view > "Create new event" form > search input fields [e.g. Customer, Entity, etc.])

Fixed an issue with the autocomplete search not updating results after subsequent input changes. The search now correctly reflects new inputs and does not produce the same results as the first search term.

Resolved a bug causing the Scheduler view preset button labels (Day, Week, Month, Year) to be mixed up.

  • Quick3 now properly saves Freshdesk ticket ID

(Home > Task view > click Freshdesk icon in the toolbar)

Resolved an issue where the Freshdesk ticket ID was not being saved correctly when creating a Freshdesk ticket from Quick3. The ID is now properly captured and linked to the Quick3 Task.

  • Supplier Search and missing Items in Purchase Requirements issue fixed

(Home > Purchase Requirement view > Supplier search field)

Resolved an issue where Supplier search was not functioning correctly, and Items were not appearing in Purchase Requirements without a page refresh. Items added to the Purchase Requirement now display immediately, and the Supplier search is working as expected.

  • Voucher duplication in SAFT Export resolved

Fixed an issue where vouchers were being duplicated in the SAFT export when a single voucher had varying dates on different lines.

  • Issue with pre-selecting Pickup Points in Webshop

We've resolved an issue where pre-selecting Pickup Points in Webshop was causing an error message when creating the Consignment in Quick3.

  • Fix for sending Remittance files with Swedbank (Sweden)

The issue preventing the sending of remittance files for foreign payments with Swedbank accounts in Sweden has been fixed. Previously, sending remittance files for these payments didn’t work with Swedbank accounts, although it worked fine with Nordea.

Integrations

  • Koivunen Oy's supplier integration (Finland)

This supplier integration simplifies your ordering process. You can easily send Purchase Orders from Quick3 to Koivunen, and receive shipping notices automatically through a scheduled background job. Additionally, the stock availability functionality is now fully implemented and ready for use.

As a prominent Finnish importer and wholesaler, Koivunen provides a variety of products like spare parts, accessories, tires, rims, tools, machinery, and fasteners for passenger and commercial vehicles. Their wide distribution network ensures that these products are accessible through trusted local dealers and specialist repairers across Finland.

  • Fixed problem with Order and Invoice display for Items in Webshop

(Webshop > My Page > Order history > Order / Invoice)

Fixed problem where setting on Item for displaying only line sum in Order, Offer, and Invoice report was not respected in the Webshop. If this setting is marked on the Item, we now only display the sum in Webshop on Order / Invoice.

For delivery options that does not require a zip code, customers will not need to add a zip code first.
