New Features
Capital Item settings can now be managed directly from the Item card
(Home > Item view > Settings tab - see "Capital item" section)
You can define the Item's capital item information, including its make, model, and status, directly on the Item card. The available models can be searched using the makes and models search, and statuses are retrieved from the registry.
The Item card also displays Capital Item settings that have already been configured for the Item's make and model.
Separate Sales and Purchase tabs in the Sales Wizard
(Home > Customer view > Entity wizard) or (Home > Entity view > Entity wizard )
The Sales Wizard now includes separate Sales and Purchase tabs.
- Sales: Sell a new Entity and/or take in a used trade-in.
- Purchase: Purchase a used Entity directly, without requiring a new Entity sale.
This allows used-entity purchases to be handled independently from the Wizard.
Configure Accounting exports directly in Quick3
(Home > Import/Export)
Accounting exports for PowerOffice, GBAT 10, UNI Micro, Duett, Visma Business, Visma Global, and Visma E-conomics can now be configured directly from the Quick3 GUI. Previously, adding these accounting exports required a manual database update by 2nd line support. This is no longer required.
A SuperAdmin user must activate the accounting export in Quick3 before it becomes available in the Import/Export view from the main menu.
This makes the process easier and reduces the need for database-level changes while ensuring that accounting exports are only made available when explicitly activated by a SuperAdmin.
View Item price history directly on the Item card
(Home > Item view)
Items can now display the price history for both in-prices and out-prices directly on the Item card. This provides better traceability of price changes and makes it easier to review how an item's prices have changed over time. The price history is presented in an accessible and intuitive way, allowing users to find relevant pricing information without leaving the Item card.
Automatic reminders for Documents awaiting Approval
(Home > Resource view > Notifications tab> Setup > "Finance" section)
A new automatic job can now be configured to send reminders about documents waiting in the approval queue. The job uses notification setup on resources to determine which resources to remind and which channel the reminder is to be distributed on.
Support for RF Creditor Reference
(Home > Document Center)
We now support RF Creditor Reference (ISO 11649) in the Document Center and payment files.
RF references can now be registered on invoices and included automatically when creating payments, removing the need to handle these payments manually. The RF Creditor Reference is commonly used for SEPA payments and is particularly relevant for Finnish customers when making tax payments to government authorities, but it can also be used for regular supplier payments.
New menu option "New document" in the Document Center voucher view
(Home > Document Center > Voucher > Main Menu - select "New document")
"New document" option is now available with two actions:
- Reverse to new document (reverse a posted document by creating a new document).
- Copy to new document (creates a copy of the selected document).
This replaces "Create Reversal Document" in the General Ledger smart tab in the Voucher view, which will be removed in a future release.
New Settings tab for Consignments
(Home > Consignments view > Settings tab)
A new Settings tab has been added to the Consignments view. Here, users can configure ZIP codes where "Include item info" should be enabled by default when creating shipments.
Add Accessories and Equipment in Purchase Orders
(Home > Purchase Order view > right-click in the grid > "Add existing equipment" / "Add accessories")
Added a right-click option in the Purchase Order grid view to add accessories and equipment when there is an Entity connected to the block. Same feature as exists in Offer and Order view, but now also available for Purchase Orders.
Improvements
Prevent rounding differences on Invoice payments
(Home > Invoice search > Invoice > POS)
Invoice payments transferred to the cash register can no longer use cash payment methods that have a rounding rule configured. This change was made because rounded payment methods could cause differences between the invoice amount and the payment amount, resulting in reconciliation differences in accounting.
Invoice payments can still be made using payment methods without a rounding rule.
For example, if cash payments are needed for invoices, create a separate payment method such as “Invoice payment - Cash” without a rounding rule and add it to the cash register's payment method settings. Invoice payments made with this payment method will then be processed for the exact invoice amount without rounding.
This ensures that invoice payments transferred to the cash register match the invoice total and prevents rounding-related reconciliation differences in accounting.
Generate Stock Taking lists based on sub-locations not yet counted
(Home > Stock taking > Menu > Not counted items)
Users can now generate stock-taking lists for items that have not yet been counted in sub-locations.
Previously, the stock-taking list could only be generated by selecting the main location. This was not practical for larger warehouses where inventory is managed and counted based on sub-locations.
With this improvement, users can generate a stock-taking list based on the sub-locations that have not yet been counted, making the stock-taking process more suitable for warehouses with a hierarchical location structure.
Punch In directly from My Tasks grid
(Home > My Tasks - see the Punch In icon in the grid)
A new button has been added to the grid in "My Tasks", allowing you to start time tracking directly from the task list without navigating to the individual Task page.
Indicator for manually adjusted Prices
(Home > Order view - shown as a blue dot in the grid next to the manually adjusted price)
A new visual indicator makes it easier to identify manually adjusted prices. A small colored dot is displayed next to the price, with a tooltip explaining that the price has been manually changed. This makes it easier for both users and support to understand why a price may not have been automatically updated.
Improvements to the Remittance view
Filter Remittance rows by Supplier or Customer
(Home > Remittance view > Selection tab)
A new dropdown filter has been added to the remittance view, allowing users to filter remittance rows by Supplier or Customer. This makes it easier to narrow down the displayed remittance rows and quickly find the relevant supplier or customer transactions.
Validate KID or Message before Remittance Export
(Home > Remittance type - see the setting in the grid)
A new setting has been added to remittance types to prevent the export of remittance lines that do not contain a KID or message. When this setting is enabled, Quick3 validates the remittance lines before export. If any lines are missing both a KID and a message, the export is stopped, and an error is displayed to the user. This helps prevent incomplete remittance data from being exported and allows users to correct missing information before proceeding.
Batch cost price correction
(Home > Item view > Stock > Batch)
You can now correct an incorrect Batch cost price directly from the Item view under Stock → Batch.
- The Log tab setting has been removed.
- Batch cost price correction is now available under Item card → Stock → Batch.
- Only system admins can correct batch cost prices.
- Cost price can only be corrected for open batches.
- The correction creates a new stock log entry with the correct cost price.
- Stock log rows can no longer be edited to correct cost prices.
- When accounting is used, the stock account value is updated accordingly.
- Users can choose to update the average cost of open order lines when confirming the correction.
Improved Finvoice purchase invoice handling [Finland]
(Home > Document center > Finvoice purchase invoice)
The Finvoice purchase invoice handling has been refactored and improved to resolve issues where certain invoices could cause errors or some information from the Finvoice message was not displayed correctly.
With these improvements, the invoice data is now handled more reliably, and all available information from the Finvoice message is included in the PDF invoice preview. This improves the consistency and reliability of Finvoice purchase invoice processing and ensures that the information received in the invoice message is properly reflected in the PDF preview.
Alternative Item Number count now visible in Item view
(Home > Item view > Alt. Item No. tab)
The Alternative Item No. tab in the Item view now displays the number of alternative item numbers registered for the Item, making it easier to see this information at a glance.
Validation has also been added to prevent empty rows from being saved, ensuring that the displayed count reflects only valid alternative item numbers.
Added support for importing contract groups in Item Groups import
(Home > Import Wizard > Item groups)
The ItemGroup import now supports importing contract groups. The contract group name in the import file must match an existing contract group for it to be recognized. The matching is not case-sensitive.
New Scheduler
Improved holiday label visibility in the Scheduler
(Home > Scheduler (New))
Holiday labels in the Scheduler are now easier to see when Resources are grouped.
Improved time visibility in the Scheduler weekly view
(Home > Scheduler (New) > Week)
The weekly view of the new scheduler now shows selected clock times, which helps users orient themselves in the schedule.
Added a refresh button in External Price Lists view
(Home > External Price Lists view)
A new Refresh button has been added to the External Price Lists view, allowing users to refresh the grid and see the latest data after updating prices.
Availability tab improvements
(All Availability tabs across the application)
The Availability view has been improved with the following updates:
- Items now always display at least one row, even when no stock entry exists yet.
- A loading indicator is shown while data is being loaded.
- The full inherited stock location description is now displayed.
Missing Article information no longer excludes Invoice rows
Invoice rows without an Article Identifier or Article Name are now included in the generated PDF. Previously, these rows were left out of the generated PDF. These rows are now always included, with available data populated on a best-effort basis.
Improved Klarna capture error message
Improved the error message when attempting to capture Klarna payments that are past the reservation date or otherwise invalid.
Integrations
Moontalk integration: automatic logging of mobile calls [Finland]
(Home > Customer search > Customer > Communication > Contact History)
Calls handled through Moontalk, both incoming and outgoing, are now logged automatically in Quick3. The call history is visible in the Communication tab of the Customer card.
Vehicle search Traficom: structured vehicle details from Trafi [Finland]
(Home > Entity search > Entity > Registration data)
The vehicle details received from the registry query are now shown in a new, structured format. The new structure can be opened with the "Show" symbol on the vehicle card. The details are grouped into logical sections that can be expanded and collapsed individually.
Örum button now available in Offer view [Finland]
(Home > Offer search > Offer view)
The Örum button is now available in the Offer view, providing the same functionality already available in the Order view.
Atoy catalogue integration
(Home > Order)
The Atoy catalogue can now be activated for sales orders. When the catalogue is enabled, users can browse the Atoy catalogue and import the contents of the shopping cart directly to the sales order. This makes it easier to transfer selected products from the Atoy catalogue to Quick3 without having to add the items manually.
Updates to APIv2
- Added Tags expansion to all contexts in APIv2 that support Tags: Item, Item Group, Customer, Order, Invoice, Task, Entity, and Resource.
- Fixed an issue with the GET api/v2/item APIv2 endpoint where webActive and inStock request parameters had no effect.
- Added "includePassive" to APIv2 for the following APIv2 endpoints:
- GET api/v2/item
- GET api/v2/item/batch
- POST api/v2/item/search
When set to true, passive items are included in the response.
New APIv2 endpoints available
- Added endpoints to APIv2 that allow consumers to create Task texts and connect them to Tasks or Blocks. API consumers can now create, retrieve, update, and delete task and block texts, providing more flexibility when integrating task-related information with external systems.
- Added a new APIv2 endpoint for getting all resources in batches.
- Added a new APIv2 endpoint for getting all tags in batches.
Bug Fixes
Stock Taking:
(Home > Stock Taking)
Resolved multiple issues affecting items with manual batch handling during stock taking:
- Manually adding an item could result in incorrect stock quantities per batch and warnings when completing the stock taking.
- Relocating an item could result in too large a quantity being relocated when the same batch was available at multiple stock locations.
(Home > Stock Taking > Menu > select "Reset inventory")
Fixed a bug where "Reset inventory" in Stock Taking would give an error.
Incorrect Running Balance for non-calendar fiscal years
(Home > Quick Ledger Balance view)
Fixed an issue in Quick Ledger Balance where running balances were calculated incorrectly for companies with fiscal years that do not follow the standard January-December calendar year. Quick Ledger Balance now recognizes the fiscal year configured in Periodic Routines and includes the running balance from the beginning of the correct fiscal year.
Relocating Items error in Batches
(Home > Item view > Stock tab > Menu > "Relocate")
Fixed a bug causing the full quantity to be added to one batch when relocating an item with multiple batches at a given location.
BMW AWP: removed empty ISPA_SRP Item from Orders
Fixed an issue where Orders created through BMW AWP automatically included an unnecessary empty ISPA_SRP item on each block. The empty item is no longer added, removing the need for users to manually delete it from newly created orders.
Invoice Delivery: Cash Credit Notes no longer included
(Home > Item view > Stock tab > Menu > "Relocate")
Fixed an issue with the Invoice delivery scheduled job, where Cash credit notes were considered for invoice delivery.
Incorrect Cost when creating a new Batch
(Home > Item view > Stock tab > Batch > + add a new batch)
Fixed a bug that could cause the wrong cost being set when creating a new batch using the dialog available in the "Stock" tab on Item.
Missing Report Texts
(Home > Client Configuration > Report texts)
Missing Report Texts have been added for several reports, making additional existing report options available for configuration in Quick3. This allows users to configure report functionality that was previously supported by the reports but could not be enabled or adjusted through the available ReportText settings.
Average Cost not updated when Cost Price is set to follow Sales Price
(Home > Client Configuration > Report texts)
For items with Cost Price = Sales Price enabled and no inventory management, the average cost was not updated together with the unit price. This could result in an incorrect gross margin calculation. The average cost now follows the unit price in the same way as the cost price.
Item without inventory messes up delivery calculation when Auto Picking
(Home > Order view > Menu > "Create a picking list" > "Auto delivery")
Fixed an issue where the delivery calculation for item sets during auto-picking could fail if the client setting to automatically pick items without inventory was not enabled.
Schema line comment field is not displayed
(Home > Task search > Task > Schema > select schema line)
A schema line comment field that was being captured in the Quick3 Mobile application is now displayed in the Quick3 Task detail view as an editable field on the schema line.
Copied items do not receive the source item's code and supplier number
(Home > Item search > Item > Menu > Copy item)
The copied items now receive the same supplier number and the item code with a "(COPY)" suffix added.
Failed invoicing of Orders with Picklists leaves an open Consolidated Invoice
Now, when invoicing of an order fails, the picklist modifications are rolled back to their initial state before the invoicing was attempted.
Preparing new voucher documents for Invoice Control fails with an error
The "Prepare for invoice control" action on voucher documents no longer fails with the ArgumentNullException error.
