If you want customers to be able to easily sign up for newsletters that are sent out via the campaign function, you can set up a form where customers can sign up for/unsubscribe from newsletters without having to create themselves as a customer first. However, it requires that you have Quick3 Webshop and the Form module to be able to connect forms to article pages on the web.
Form
The requirement for the form to be created for signing up/unsubscribing from the newsletter is that the code on the email field in the form must be email. In addition, the code on the checkbox field must be inorout. In the form, a procedure code must also be entered for the form to work on the web. Contact support for assistance with entering this.
Customer
When using this form, a joint customer must be created, under which the customers who sign up to receive the newsletter will end up as contact persons. This customer MUST have the company name *Newsletter* (including the stars before and after the name).
This is so that the system can place the contact persons on the correct customer.
Articles
Furthermore, two articles must be created - one for the actual subscription/unsubscription to which the form is attached, and one article that sends the customers to a page for confirmation.
In the article for subscription/unsubscription, you link to the form you have created, under the form tab on the article.
The article for the confirmation the customer receives after they have made a choice about signing up/unsubscribing must be linked to inside the form in the "redirect URL" field. You can find the correct part of the URL by opening the article via the globe and copying the part of the URL that has a slash followed by an "a" plus a number, in this example "/a296":
Once the setup of the articles and form has been completed, it must be placed somewhere on the website. This is done by placing the article in a desired article group or placing it in the desired place in the webshop. This is managed at the article/article group level.
For example, it could look like this on the website:
Unsubscribe
If customers wish to unsubscribe, they must open the same article w/form, enter the same e-mail they used for registration and remove the checkbox for newsletters.
Newsletter campaign
To send out newsletters, you can use the campaign function in Quick. In order to extract the recipients who have registered as recipients of the newsletter, the selection rule "Contact person recipient of..." must be selected, and they must be recipients of the newsletter.
