In Quick3, you can set up a fixed email template for, among other things, newsletter-type campaigns. In this way, you will ensure that all e-mails sent from you as a supplier look the same and are perceived as credible by your customers. It also means that you don't have to enter much of the information manually for each maili, as the information can be added to the template itself.
How to create an email template for a newsletter:
To create an email template, go to the main menu and search for "Templates".
Then go to the "Email" tab and click + to create a new template.
In the settings, select Type: Campaign and immediately click Save.
The settings (buttons) will then change and show preselections that typically affect a campaign. Fill in the other settings as you wish.
Name: The name of the template itself (not visible to the customer)
Subject: The subject of the email if it is to be the same for all mailings
From: Email address that will be the sender for the campaign, if this is to be the same for all mailings
Copy: Any recipients who must appear on the copy of the campaign mailing
BCC: Any recipients you want to receive a copy of the campaign mailing, without the customers seeing it
Language: Preferred language
Type: This must say "Campaign"
Profile: Used if the Quick3 client consists of several profiles
With these buttons, you insert pre-programmed codes that retrieve information from other places in the system. When you click the button, Quick automatically adds a code to the text field that retrieves the information you clicked on.
The codes that are relevant to the type of campaign are article URL, campaign text and GDPR URL.
Article URL: If you link a pre-written article from the article search into the campaign, this code will be replaced with a link to the article on the website. (Requires Quick3 webshop)
Campaign text: The text contained in the campaign will be included in the e-mail at the place where this code is placed in the template. You edit this content in the campaign itself under "Campaign" in the main menu.
GDPR URL: A link that takes the recipient to the consent page in the webshop. (Requires Quick3 webshop)
These codes are useful when building your email template. For example, an email template might look like this:
All content in the template will be added to the campaign's content. (Using "#CAMPAIGNTEXT#")
You can also add images to the email template by adding them in "File Explorer".
Remember to save when you're done!
