Activate item groups in webshop

Within all item groups, there is an option to tick "Web Active":

This causes the item group to appear as a menu selection in the webshop, and all web-active products associated with this item group will appear under the menu selection.

This is the same tick that you also find under the main menu option "Item group hierarchy":

Here you can see that the item group "Produkter" is available online, while the item groups "Eksempelvaregruppe" and "Web-varer" are not available in the webshop. If you want to add item groups as a sub-menu under "Produkter" you can drag the item groups into "Produkter" (drag and drop).

Tip: Many choose to create an own item group system for use in the webshop. It makes it easier to keep track of what is published and what is not. Each item can be a "member" of more than one item group. This means that it can continue to be included in the "old" item group within Quick3, but also in the "new" item group for use on the web. The item group that is set as the primary item group for the item is the one that controls account setup and bookkeeping.
