An order block in Quick can be sent to the webshop for the customers confirmation.

To be able to use this function, you must first have created an email template of type "Order", which contains a #WEBSHOPORDERURL#. This is set up in Templates. Follow the steps below to see how this is done.

Step 1 - Set up an email template of type "Order"

  1. Go to Templates
  2. Open Email templates
  3. Create a new template of type "Order"
  4. Enter the desired text
  5. Add the "Webshop order URL" button/code.
  6. Save

Step 2 - Set a block type to require confirmation

Under "Blocktype" you can set a specific block type to require confirmation from the customer. This is done as follows:

  1. Go to Blocktype
  2. Create a new block type or select an existing one
  3. Tick "Customer Confirmation required" if this should be a fixed setting for blocks of this type

Step 3 - Send an order to the webshop for confirmation

On an order, you can decide at block level whether the block must be confirmed by the customer or not. This is done in the block settings.

Enter the order and edit the block by clicking on the pencil:

On the block you can check that confirmation is required:

One of the two fields below will be filled in when the customer has submitted their confirmation/denial:

To send the order for confirmation in the webshop, go to the menu in the right hand corner and select:

Send - Email (pdf) - Order

The image that now opens is based on the email template we created in the first step, but with the correct order link for this respective order.

By clicking this link, the customer is sent to the webshop where they can choose to confirm/reject the parts of the order that are set to require confirmation.

If the customer approves, the order block gets a green tick and the field for "The customer has confirmed this block" is marked.

If the customer rejects, the order block gets an orange cross and the field for "This block was rejected by the customer" is marked.
