Documents on items in webshop

In Quick3, you can add various documents to an item card in the webshop. In some contexts, for example, it can be useful to refer to a data sheet or a user manual for a product. In this article, we show how you can add a document for download in the webshop.

How to add a document to an item:

Inside an item, you can add various files/documents by going to the tab called "File explorer". Here, for example, you add images that you want to be displayed for the product, and you can add PDF documents that are useful for the user.

In this example, we show how you can add a data sheet and assembly instructions (both in PDF format) so that they are visible on the web.

1. Go to the item where you want to add the file(s)
2. Open the tab called "File Explorer"
3. In the hamburger menu, select "Upload" and upload the document you want to view
4. Check the box for the document to be "Web-active"
5. Then click Save in the top right corner.

Click on the globe in the top right corner to go directly to the product in the webshop.

The file(s) you added are now displayed at the bottom of the item card in the webshop and can be downloaded.
