Webshop Settings

This article describes the various settings that affect the webshop.


You will find Webshop Settings in the main menu under Webshop:



Under Webshop settings you will find three main tabs:



Settings: The tab where most settings are located and can be adjusted

File explorer: Images and files are uploaded under this tab (the files must also be made web-active here)

Advanced: For developers - Do not touch


Settings:

  • Background picture: Image that will be placed on the main background of the online store
  • Missing picture: A common image that appears on all items that lack a product image
  • Logo: The company's logo, which will appear in the top left corner of the webshop
  • Watermark: An image that will be shown on all product images - NB! Must be partially transparent.


To display images in the drop-down menu here, they must first be uploaded in the file explorer and made web-active.



  • Show customers vehicles in mypage: If customer should see entities that they are an owner of on mypage
  • Allow new customers to register in webshop: Opens for customers to register themselves as a new customer in the webshop
  • Allow registration of customer without address: Opens for customers to register without an address
  • Wishlist enabled: Gives the customer the possibility to favor items
  • Logged in required: Blocks all content for guest users
  • Show only orders per profile: Used if the Q3 client is set up with different profiles/web shops, and you only want to see orders for the respective profile.
  • Use today as delivery date offset: Will use today's calendar date as the delivery basis for the order.
  • Login method: Whether you want to use Standard login or login with Authentication code
  • Article for custom registration form: Article with a form that can be used if a customized registration form is desired for new customers
  • Article for contact item form: Article with a form that can be used if a customized contact form is desired for items.
  • Add to basket enabled: Who will be allowed to put items in the basket. Will block sales if you are a guest, if the setting is set to Logged in users only. A Contact us button appears on items until you log in.
  • Customer: Template customer can be added here. All newly registered customers will then follow this template customer.

  • Click and collect enabled: Who the Click and Collect feature should be available to
  • Allow orders for not-in-stock items: Whether you want to allow items that are not in stock to be available with Click and collect


  • Finance module: If you want items to be displayed with partial payment/financing
  • Interest rate: Which interest rate the calculation should use
  • Finance period in years: How many years it will be possible to show with partial payment


  • Modelsearch enabled: Who should have access to the model search
  • VIN Search: Who should have access to the VIN search
  • Respect manual sorting: 


  • Show item groups in filter: If you want the item groups themselves to be filterable


  • Reserve quantities for packing queue immediately when confirming order: Whether the order line should be reserved when confirming the order, or not.
  • Automatically use "Transferred To" items when items are added to basket: Will cause webshop orders to always transfer to new items using the item connection "Transferred To".


  • Show the quantity picker on the item page: If you want the quantity selector to be available on the item card (not just in the basket)
  • Show connections on item page: If you want item connections such as set and component to be shown on the item card, in addition to on a separate tab (Consists of)
  • Item search enabled: Who should have access to the item search bar
  • Show items and item groups: Who should have access to items and item groups
  • Show itemnumber: Who should have access to item number
  • Quick add to basket: Who should have access to the function "Quick add to basket"
  • Show stockstatus: Who should be able to see stock status
  • Include item sizing as spesifications: Whether you want to include fields from item info such as height, length, width, weight as properties of the item.


  • Short description: If you want to show the short description of the items in the item listing for an item group
  • Search in short description: Whether the short description should be searchable in the search field
  • Show the quantity picker on the items list grid: If you want to show the quantity selector on the items in a list 
  • Focusitem columns: How many focus items should be display in the width of the list

  • Show properties in lists: Who you want to show properties for, in the product listing

  • Number of properties in lists: How many properties you want to include on the items in the listing

  • Item columns: How many items should appear next to each other in the width

  • Item columns on small devices: How many items you want to display in the width of small devices (mobile and tablet)

  • Hide items that are not in stock: If you want to remove items that are sold out from the webshop

  • Show Price Range Slider: Whether you want to allow users to filter by price in an item group


  • Only show item groups with items: Item groups without items will be removed from the webshop
  • Only show item groups available to the customers category: Only item groups that are under "Allowed item groups" in a customer type/category will be shown to the customer



  • Prices - Item lists and details: How price should be displayed on item lists and details
  • Prices - My Page: How price should be displayed on My Page
  • Customer specific prices: The customer will see their customer-specific prices in the webshop
  • Hide prices for guest: Prices will be hidden from anyone who is not logged in
  • Allow user to change display type of price: Allows the customer to change the display of ex VAT/incl. VAT
  • Discount codes: Who should be able to use Webshop discount codes
  • Amount inc. vat before free shipping: A total order amount that will give free shipping.


  • Stock status texts: Text and icons that will appear on items' stock status
