Setup of appointment booking form w/landing page

If customers want to be able to make appointments for workshop agreements such as EU inspection, service, repairs or overhauls online, an appointment booking form can be created which is linked to an article on the website.


Here we consider the various steps to create this.


Create task template

First, a task template must be created that will be valid for accepting requests from the web. To create a new assignment template, go to assignment search and press the plus sign. There you define what type of task it should be, which product it applies to, and which resource should receive these inquiries. Once this has been filled in, click on the hamburger menu and select save as template.


Create order template

You can link an order template with pre-made blocks, items etc. to the form for booking an appointment. To create a new order template, go to order search and press the plus sign. There you define what kind of order status and order type the order should have, and add desired items. When the template is set up as desired, click on the hamburger menu and select save as template.


Create form

After the task template is ready, the form for the appointment booking form must be created. At the top of the form, you give it a code and description, and attach task and order templates to be used in connection with submitting the form. In addition, you fill in an article link for what is to be displayed after the form has been submitted. This must also be created if it has not already been created. This is a simple article that tells you that the inquiry has been received. Then click save.


Form lines must also be filled in. The form lines can, as an example, look like this:

Create article and link to the form

After the form has been created, you need an article to link this to. It can preferably contain a banner image and informational text.


Go to article search (located in the main menu for the webshop). Then press the plus sign on the right.


In the article, you fill in who it should be published for, a description, where it should be placed on the website by choosing a section, title and information text. In addition, you can enter an image in the file explorer that must be web-active and ticked so that it is displayed at the top.


In the Schema tab on the article, you add the form you have recently created.


Then it will look like this on the web, for example:
