Tyre hotel

NB! This is a function that must be activated before you can use it, and requires some setup, contact us to get started with the tire hotel.

Setup

This is done in the make/model register.

Several new parameters for the tyre hotel (DH-****) must be added.

It is important that these are entered exactly as shown in the picture, otherwise, it will not work.

Additionally, it is practical to have a connection (reference) to tire dimensions if you do not already have this. Tyre dimensions will then be automatically retrieved from the vehicle registration data.

Registering the tyres in the tyre hotel

This is done for the entity under parameters.

If the new parameters have not appeared, click the button marked in the picture to retrieve model parameters. This is an example, and the data that needs to be filled in can be set up according to your needs.

1. Fill in the storage location.
2. Set the tyre hotel as active for this entity.
3. Indicate whether summer/winter tyres are being stored.
4. Fill in the tread depth.
5. Fill in the date the tyres were submitted.
6. Any special notes can be filled in here.

Tyre dimensions are loaded from the available vehicle registration data if it is set up that way, but you can also manually change this if the customer has different dimensions than what is factory-installed.

Reports

There are reports available for various purposes related to the tyre hotel.

1. Tyre Label: By default, a report with 4 labels (4 wheels) is generated. However, you do not have to use all labels if, for example, it is motorcycle tires with only 2 wheels. This label can be printed on an EDI label and fixed to the tyres before placing them in storage.
2. Tyre hotel schema: Here, you get a form that is filled out and signed.

Overview of the tyre hotel customers

Under entity->Reports, you will find a report "Customer list for tyre hotel," which shows all registered entitys in the tyre hotel.

Tip: To easily keep in touch/inform customers who use the tyre hotel, you can create a custom selection criteria for customers who use the tyre hotel(contact us for creating this). This way, you can easily send out campaigns to the relevant customers.
