Introduction
In our Scheduler, events created from tasks or orders can automatically be assigned descriptions based on the information of their parent. This is done through text tags specifically made for the scheduler. In practice, this means that you can customize exactly how order or task-related events are presented in the timeline in a consistent manner every time you create a new Work Order event, or when you drag tasks to the timeline from the Waiting Zone.
Tags
These are the predefined tags that can be used in the Event Display Pattern:

Text modifiers
You can control the information presented from tags with text modifiers. As of writing, there's only one modifier available called Substring, which can limit the amount of characters in the information presented from any given tag.
Example 1:
"#TASKTEXT#" = "Parts needed for service are described in the attached documents. Refer to Mats for ordering."
"#TASKTEXT#{ substring: 35 }" = "Parts needed for service are descri" (35 characters)
Example 2:
"Loc: #ENTITYSTOCKLOCATION#" = "Loc: Trondheim"
"Loc: #ENTITYSTOCKLOCATION#{ substring: 5 }" = "Loc: Trond"
